Before Christmas I brought from another demo, Jenny Moor, the instuctions to make a chest set and matching cards in Mocha Morning papers.  I thought  they looked very elegant and did a set for my Aunt  for christmas.  Trust me this set makes a lovely gift for someone.

Well I enjoyed making the set so much that I thought I'd recreate it but this time I used fabric to cover the chest and the cupcake stamp set and punch to make the cards and this is the end result:-

Now I bet you're thinking that I got into a right pickle not only sticking the material to the box but cutting it to the right size as well.  Well fear not for Stampin'Up! have introduced Big Shot Mulitipurpose Adhesive Sheets that are brilliant and stops you getting in a mess with attaching fabric to card.  So what I did was I cut the top sections of the box in card, put this on the Adhesive Sheet to pick up the adhesive and then laid this, adhesive side down, onto the back of the fabric and cut around the card, Volia, a perfect fit :)

The chest consisited of 4 C6 cards and 6 3x3" cards,  I did the cards in two colour schemes as shown below

I was quite pleased with the end results and this is how it looks all together:

If you like what I've done with this set and can see the versatility of the Create a Cupcake stamp set and matching punch then you only have 16 days left to purchase it from the Spring Mini catalogue so hurry up and get in touch with me to place your order by any of the methods listed above.
