Tuesday 3 April 2012

Good morning,

Today I am going to show you the cards that my eldest daughter and grandson  gave hubby for his birthday.  Unfortunately she came to collect her cards before I had chance to make new ones so she chose one from a class that I had done and another from a training session I went to.

This is the one my daughter gave to her dad;-

I've used the largest stamp from lovely as a tree set then cut it into 3.  I have then mounted the picture onto cherry cobbler and crumb cake.  I have heat embossed the sentiment onto Night of Navy cardstock using versamark ink and gold embossimg powder.

The one that Leo gave to his granded was made at one of Jules training sessions and just perfect as his grandad has always wanted to fly in a hot air balloon:-

The base card is Soft Suede and I believe the blue card is Pool Party which was embossed using the perfect  polka dot embossing folder.  The basket of the ballon was made using the Cupcake punch and then embossed with the Square lattice embossing folder.  A piece of real red card was stamped using the dot dot dot stamp and soft suede ink and then cut out using the oval and round punch.  The clouds we made using the round scallop punch.  The sentiment is from Create a Cupcake stamp set onto Whisper White card and punched out with the word window and Modern Label punch.

My sister has wanted this stamp set for ages and has just purchased this set and also used it to create Deans birthday cards to he got 3 from the same set.  Here are the cards my sister created, I think they are just lovely.

Remember you can only get the items from the Spring Mini until the end of April as we never know what is going to be carried over to the new catalogue in October!!

Tomorrow will be the final card for hubby that I made for my youngest to give to her dad.  Until then take care and happy crafting
