Yesterday I posted the cards that daughter, grandson and sister had done for my hubby's birthday and today I'm going to show you the one I managed to do for our youngest daughter to give him. As I have already said, he is an avid gardener, so I thought I'd try and do another one on the theme of gardening and this is the end result....

I created the basket by using the round punch and cutting a bit away from it, the handle was made by punching out a section from where I had just punched the round shape from.  I then used tiny strips of chocolate chip card to create the lattice effect on the front.  The fruit is from the fruit and flowers set with the apple stamp making the background by using daffodil delight ink onto daffodil delight card.  The little fork and spade were made using the smallest oval punch, cutting it in half and then cutting some off from around the sides and the handles were made using the word window punch.  The happy birthday was from party this way and the dad from the for my family stamp set.

  1. now that fork and trowel are genius - would never have thought of that. This must have taken you ages, especially with the weaving on the basket
